An education in Chinese or East Asian medicine is like a bachelor's degree - a bunch of courses all squished together with varying topics. These courses have great surface value but some courses require more depth.

There's no way that a teacher could possibly get a class to master pulse in a few months. However, if a teacher left the student with a signpost, a guide, a process of how to go about pulse diagnosis for the remainder of their career, I believe the student wouldn't feel so jilted post-graduation.

My aim is to teach you a pattern of going about the pulse - no different than my four-step tongue diagnosis process - so that you can let the pulse teach itself to you.
