Kenton practices Deep Tissue Lymphatic Acupuncture (DTLA), a Japanese acupuncture approach developed through his clinical training and apprenticeship.

A typical acupuncture appointment is approximately 60 minutes.
Your first appointment begins with a discussion of your concerns, relevant history, and what you would like to accomplish through treatment. This is followed by an assessment and treatment.

Kenton Sefcik has been a Registered Acupuncturist since 2007.
His clinical practice has been accompanied by extensive teaching and professional experience in acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. He has taught acupuncture and TCM at post-secondary institutions, presented seminars to health and movement professionals, and contributed educational writing to professional publications.
His approach continues to be grounded in the practical experience of treating patients one at a time.

Is acupuncture painful?
Acupuncture should NOT be painful. Acupuncture needles are extremely fine. Most people experience little or no discomfort when they are inserted. Sensations such as heaviness, warmth, tingling, or a dull ache are normal during treatment.
